Prepare For Battle!
Tonight is the night! Even without the Flyers involvement, the National Hockey League begins their playoffs tonight.
As I frantically gather up the playoff pools, I am hoping that there are enough games televised to satisfy my Playoff Hockey hunger.
Here is how the first round matchups look:
Looking over the matchups, I think the Nashville Predators vs San Jose Sharks series looks to be the best of the 8.

I'm kind of hoping good things for the Pens. They are exciting to watch.
I also always root for the Canucks. My family is from B.C. and my uncle lived most, if not all of his adult life in Vancouver and was a season ticket holder.
Really! Then you should appreciate that my dog, Kirk, is actually named after Kirk McLean of the Canucks of old. I was a die hard Canucks fan for years. I grew a littel salty this year because I drafted Naslund and he let me down. . . third line indeed.
I have my McLean "Flying Skate" jersey. Love it.
And a rare jersey at that! One of three ever sold! HA!
