The Right Direction
The Flyers jumped in the Free Agency pool early this summer by acquiring and then signing Scott Hartnell (not Josh Hartnell ladies) and Kimmo Timonen. The Timonen pairs up the Timonen brothers (Jussi is on the Phantoms roster currently) and is considered a good first move for rebuilding the franchise that has seen it's worst record in history.
In other words. . . .THEY STINK!!
Now, if they can sign Briere and Gomez, we may have something to cheer about.

We won't have anything to cheer about, no one wants to come here.
Hartnell is a decent pickup, but the Timonen grab is GOLD!!!
(I may have to cheer for these toads again.)
Timonen = yay! Hartnell = huh? $4.2 million a year is a tad much. I'd be more willing to jump on the "Homer knows what he's doing" bandwagon if not for Kyle Calder and Mike York debacles.
I still can't eat a York Peppermint Patty to this day.
